Parents and Guardians- 
We wanted to take a moment to reach out to let you know that our school will be participating in an active assailant drill in the near future.  Training for the required safety drill was conducted today.  These trainings are required monthly by state law. I want to assure you that the trainings have been developed in coordination with law enforcement and school psychologists, social workers and counselors. The trainings are age-appropriate and will always be conducted under the guidance of your student’s administrator, teacher and other caring adults on campus. You can learn more about the specific information shared with your student by visiting www.pcsb.org/safety.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school office.  At Athenian Academy every child is important!  We care about kids!  Safety is our first priority!
